It's been awhile since my last blog and we've been busy! Two birthdays, a two year old and a new born keep you pretty busy!
The first birthday was my mom's 60th party. I had a surprise roast for her in Nebraska City during the Apple Jack Festival. Six roasters stood up to tell jokes about my mom. Mostly about her driving with two feet, using the Schwan's man for her grocery's and her increasing lawn ornaments and collections.
She was pretty surprised and we had a great turn out of family and friends.
Here is my Uncle Mikey roasting my mom!
Her son-in-law roasting her...she was a little scared when he got up!

My cousin Ashley brought her four week old baby Hazel to the birthday weekend to meet Angelo and Gia. Here Gia is 2 weeks old and on the right. Angelo wasn't too sure what to think of all the babies but he's starting to get use to them. We spent two nights in a hotel room with a two year old and a two week old and it actually didn't go to badly although I wouldn't recommend it! : )
So, I couldn't figure out how to flip this photo, but this is Bob at his 60th surprise birthday party in Hooper, NE.
We got a sitter for Angelo and took Gia with us. It was nice to sing karaoke and have a beer!
Here is my mom, she planned the surprise party!
Gia had a fun time at the party. Thanks to Grandma Sandy for holding her all night!

Patty, say cheese! You made the blog!

Here's our little sweetie at 1 month old. I can't believe it's been a month already. Here she's wearing an outfit my aunt Sharon gave to me when I was born. Gia has been a sweet little baby but is having some little pains in her tummy. It seems she's allergic to almost every formula we give her. We're now on perscription formula and have an appointment with a GI specialist on Monday because of the pain and her reactions to the formula. Hopefully we'll get it resolved soon; keep your fingers crossed that the latest formula does the trick. It's so sad to see a little one in pain.
And big brother Angelo, well he's went from totally loathing his little sister to ignoring her. He's spending his time playing outside with our little miracle dog Pierre, watching Thomas the Train and talking non stop! We can't believe some of the things that come out of his mouth. We had to go to a wake for Mike's Great Aunt last week and Angelo announced to everyone, "My pee pee goes potty in the bath tub." Mike and I were just a little embarrased!
